The way this needs to be tested is someone(tm) needs to build the packages on 10.1-RELEASE-pN, and install the packages on a 10.2-BETA installation, and ensure the linuxulator-affected binaries run. Portmgr, can we set aside one of the exp builders for this, and make the resultant package set available publicly?
