Hi,
I'm playing around with the Linux version of LabVIEW in the Linux mode
of FreeBSD (4.0, linux_base 6.1). After branding the installation binaries,
it installed fine. The thing puzzling me is that I can run the program as root,
but when I run as a normal user, labview exits with the following message:
karelj@wop21]/usr/local/lv51> ./labview
See /tmp/LabVIEW_Failure_Log.karelj.txt for more information.
Failure : "thread.c" line 651

Looking in the mentioned logfile there is not much more information:

Does someone know what could make the program run as root but fail as normal
user?
(The mentioned webpage didn't provide any answer)
Karel.
