Well, there is still quite a lot of work to do on libh.
One of the problems there is is that the system is under-documented.
Just reading through the code and getting a general feeling of how it
works would already be a good start. If you could then document what you
learn, it would be of good help.
From there you can start working on the code itself, implementing
missing parts of the installer.
Almost everything is still undone, though. For the "installer" (since
libh is more than just an installer), we still have to:
- fix the package library (it is still buggy and incomplete): lib/*,
- finish the boot floppies creator: release/floppies,
- complete the "setup" program (the installer itself): release/setup;
- disk editor (it can create partitions, but not newfs and mount
them): release/diskedit,
- package manager (not started, command line: release/pkgtools)
- system configuration program (not started)
Once all this is done we'll have a full replacement for sysinstall.
