I was waiting for Chuck Robey to step forward; he wanted to make some changes to bsd.port.mk to support ${PORTSDOCDIR}. I think it should be enough to set ${PORTSDOCDIR} to ${PREFIX}/share/doc/${PKGNAME} and add it to the exported variables for the various scripts and the Makefile in ${WRKSRC}. tg
