At the moment, they're sat in my mail queue, waiting for me to get the time to make the changes. In the meantime, many other committers have probably deleted them, or forgotten them. My own free time varies. By sending these in as a PR you allow *every* *other* *committer* (including the ones not on -doc) to see them, and potentially integrate them in to FreeBSD. This speeds up the process, and is how we do things around here. In the mean time, I'll probably not have the time to do anything with them for another week or so (seriously).
