State-Changed-From-To: open-closed State-Changed-By: jkh State-Changed-When: Wed May 31 21:34:21 PDT 1995 State-Changed-Why: This is not a bug, this is a feature. Given the structure of the ftp installation now, especially as it no longer "hits the disk" for intermediate files, I feel the trade-off to be worth it and will not be changing this. Those wishing a different local installation method can use NFS. Bad idea; NFS is usually filtered out everywhere as it has been a major security hole. -- Heikki Suonsivu, T{ysikuu 10 C 83/02210 Espoo/FINLAND, hsu@cs.hut.fi home +358-0-8031121 work -4513377 fax -4555276 riippu SN
