Hi, Recompiled the kernel with the most recent sources (2 hours ago) and my system freezes about < 30 secs after the kernel has started. It does so in both single or multi user mode... I get to do: fsck -p; mount -a -t ufs; 2-4 commands'' and then it freezes solid. No ctrl-alt-esc no nothing. How do I get this serial debug cable setup running??? It tried setting 0x20 for sio.0.flags in /boot/device.hints, but I get nothing. Although on previous occasions I could get a regular prompt. Just reverting to the ould kernel for the time being. --WjW
