I am implementing a UPS moitoring package called Network Ups Tools on my FreeBSD 3.4 STABLE machine. One of the peices of the puzzle is to finally shut the UPS off, thus powering down the machine. I was wondering where the "correct" place to implement this hook was? In /etc/rc.shutdown? Or is that too early? I need all the disks to have been dismounted. or at least mounted as read only when this action takes place. I realize that the program I want to rum will probably have to be on the root filessytem, as this is all i can depend upon being accessible by then. -- Stan Brown stanb@netcom.com 404-996-6955 Factory Automation Systems Atlanta Ga. -- Look, look, see Windows 95.
