Did you set the da0s1e and da1s1e partitions to 4.2BSD?
These are my settings...
flynn@isengard% sudo disklabel da0s1
# /dev/da0s1:
8 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize bps/cpg]
a: 819200 0 4.2BSD 0 0 0
c: 17767827 0 unused 0 0
e: 16948627 819200 4.2BSD 0 0 0
flynn@isengard% sudo disklabel da1s1
# /dev/da1s1:
8 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize bps/cpg]
b: 819200 0 swap
c: 17928477 0 unused 0 0 # "raw"
e: 17109277 819200 4.2BSD 0 0 0
flynn@isengard% cat /etc/ccd.conf
ccd0 64 none /dev/da0s1e /dev/da1s1e
Cheers,
