Greetings..

I have a little problem with running xmms program. My sound card is running perfectly so that's not the problem.I installed xmms from ports and when i run it, it says that /dev/dsp device is busy.At this point i should say that i'm running Xwindows and KDE window manager.I think that /dev/dsp device is busy because KDE is using that device, but i'm not sure. But i'm a little confused because this device is busy even when i'm not running Xwindows. Can anyone help me?
Hmm.. a did "ln -v /dev/dsp /dev/null" and xmms worked but when i restarted Xwindows it stopped working.I would like to know what to do, that xmms will work without typing all that comands.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance.
Martin
