	Whew! (he said, sweat running down his face).

	Okay, here's my situation:  I upgrade XFree about once every,
	say, 75 years.  So my notes are pretty slim.  Do I just
	reboot as then symlink X -> SVGA??  Then try to bring up
	xdm, &c?

	thanks for any clues!

	PS:  When I got to my system this morning the entire x11/XFree86-4
	     port had finished cleanly.    ...
