When booting my machine (Amd5x86, ASUS SP3G, ELSA Winner 1000 PCI)
The screen flashes (blanked out black) two times. Once right after
ther fdc/fd0 probe, second some time later - don't know exactly
where at the moment. Today it happened that (with a today's kernel)
during that screen flash the screen remained black and the machine
was frozen - had to power cycle.

Where do these screen flashes come from?
