Hi, I see a number of these messages in syslog: inetd[6716]: _secure_path: cannot stat /etc/login.conf: Permission denied I couldn't find any indication why inetd would complain, since /etc/login.conf is there and readable: [larse@sub: ~] ls -lg /etc/login.conf* -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 6325 Apr 19 17:30 /etc/login.conf -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 32768 Apr 21 01:26 /etc/login.conf.db Any ideas? Thanks, Lars ________________________________________________________________________ Lars Eggert <larse@isi.edu> Information Sciences Institute http://www.isi.edu/~larse/ University of Southern California To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
