Subject: Ether cards using DEC chip set

Jordan,

I noticed that you have ?'s in the 2.1 RELEASE.NOTES about NICs that
use the DEC PCI chipset. I did a little research on this a couple of
weeks ago and found the following cards:

Vendor Model
- --------------------------------------------------------
ASUS PCI-L101-TB
Accton ENI1203
Cogent EM960PCI
D-Link DE-530
DEC DE435
Danpex EN-9400P3
JCIS Condor JC1260
Linksys EtherPCI
Mylex LNP101
SMC EtherPower 10/100 (Model 9332)
SMC EtherPower (Model 8432)
Zynx ZX342

Note that the SMC 9332 is a 10baseT/100baseT card, the rest are
various flavors of 10Mbps. Also, Rod sells a Compex card based on
this chip but I wasn't able to find a part number. The only card with
which I have personal experience is the SMC 9332 which works like a
champ under the 1104 SNAP.

Yeah, I know, a little late, but maybe helpful anyway. Please feel
free to forward this to hardware or doc or wherever you feel it will
do the most good.

Glen
