Losh> I have a DV camera Losh> It would also be nice 'play' the video on my HDTV that supports 1080p. Your TV can probably scale it up. If not, you can run it through a program on your computer and scale it up that way. Losh> I know that DV is 640x480 Casavant> I believe NTSC DV is 720x480 Losh> I'd be happy with 720p. However, 720p is 1280x720. 480[ip] are 640x480. Do not confuse 720x480 with 720p. Do not assume that video has square pixels. NTSC DV is 720x480 DVD is 720x480 ATSC 480i is 528x480 or 544x480 or 704x480 (perhaps others, but I have yet to find any station broadcasting 640x480 or 720x480) NTSC after being A/D-ed by a tuner card is 640x480 (perhaps others)
