A bit old system, but at least it should be "well known" - if it's a OS 
problem someone would have noticed it by now.

How did you create your file systems?

Can you rule out disk drive data corruption?

Does the panic happen with all drives and all file systems you have? Can 
you boot single-user and test each file system?
