I thank you for this change, and many confused portmaster users will thank you for it as well. :) Someday I'd like to revisit http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=106483. I still remain convinced that the best place to put this information is in /var/db/pkg, not /var/db/ports. However I haven't really thought through how that would work out with pkgng yet, and we've got more than enough fish to fry atm.
