Sorry, the problem still persists. There's enough discussion about it among
OpenZFS users to make it a general problem.

An voila, there is hope for a fix:

The change here seems trivial enough for backporting. Is there any hope in
getting it into an errata patch release so we can install it binary?

I will try to test this patch out somehow, but it I don't yet have a proper
idea how to set up a test environment; I've only seen this problem in
production so far.
