Hi folks,

I've a problem with my new highpoint's rocketraid 1820a, serial ata
controller, on freebsd 5.3.
Configuration: RAID 1, n.2 disks Samsung 160Gb serial ata.

Normally I could use:

sysctl hptmv.status

to see all about the array status, and raid in use.
To simulate a fault I've swapped out a disk, then I've reinstalled the
disk and I've tryed to rebuild the array:

sysctl -w htpmv.status="hpt 0 rebuild 1,x"

where x=disk reinstalled, and not in array.
Nothing, it seems in pending ... communication lost (ssh out, console
without answer, etc etc); I've waited for about 4 hours, but the raid1
can't rebuild finish. The last resort is a forced hardware reboot, and
rebuild the array with controller's bios.

There's someone that uses this controller and could help me?
Any advice will be appreciated
Regards
Andrea
