I just read my post a few minutes ago and figured this question would be comming! It was 3:20AM, I was a bit to brief in my hurry to get home :-). On another note.... I tried to get the cards to co-exist in the system this morning, and low and behold it seems TEKRAM has royally screwed up in thier BIOS. The bios on my TekRAM-390F(875) tries to probe my Acculogic PCIport-20(825) card and barfs with an eeprom checksum error. So I said fine, let me try with the 875 and an older biosless/eepromless 810A card, well, the TekRAM bios again finds the old 810, and barfs on eeprom checksum errors (well, natural it does, there is no eeprom on that card!). I'll have to jumble things around and see if I can find away around the BIOS problem so that I can do the both sym0 and ncr0 running at the same time test to build even more confidence in having both in the kernel. I can probably disable all the onboard BIOS's and let the motherboard version of SMDS handle it, but I am not sure my current test motherboard BIOS has that in it :-(. I'll put a tech call into TekRAM tomarrow and see what they have to say about this. -- Rod Grimes - KD7CAX @ CN85sl - (RWG25) rgrimes@gndrsh.dnsmgr.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
