I tried to stir up interest in getting the acpi problem fixed, but wasn't successful. Mark, ok with you if I nuke the sysctl -a line in rc.d/initrandom? I hate to lose that source (no matter how small), but if the "can't finish sysctl -a" cancer is spreading...
