It's slightly surprising that your system is getting loaded enough to cause the
errors above -- but it may be that each memory allocation failure is taking
longer since your system is much larger than the t3 instance I was able to
reproduce this on earlier.

In any case, it you apply the patch which went into stable/12 (r360985) instead
of the patch I sent you earlier, this issue should go away.  (If it doesn't, we
DEFINITELY want to know -- this patch will be going out as an Errata Notice for
FreeBSD 12.1.)
