That's what the Solaris x86 developer told us too. However, it is not a deadlock -- it is just a starvation of a few milliseconds, and should not cause the machine to lock up for a few seconds (and I mean a complete lockup, for instance the clock interrupts aren't delivered). I mentioned to him that the same test on identical hardware works fine under FreeBSD. I never heard back from him again. Satoshi
