Everything you need for a net install is here: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.1-RELEASE/ go to the floppies directory and get both kern.flp and mfsroot.flp. If you successfully create these two disks, you will not be placed an an "ok" prompt. Something went wrong with your creation of the files. From there you will be placed into the installer. With a sufficient connection you can then point at that same place to do an FTP install. Please see the Handbook for other install options. If you have a good connection you can also download and burn your own CD-rom. ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/ISO-IMAGES/ is where you'll find the iso images. -Jr -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= John Reynolds Chandler Capabilities Engineering, CDS, Intel Corporation jreynold@sedona.ch.intel.com My opinions are mine, not Intel's.
