Subject: Xfstt doesn't work after upgrade to -STABLE

Since upgrading from 3.5 to 4.0-stable my Xfstt (Linux rpm version) will
display some, but not all, available fonts. I did nothing to the Xfstt
program or start-up script, so I'm confused on what to do.

A script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d starts up Xfstt. But now it reports "6 fonts
found" rather than the previous "44 fonts found." The font directory is a
symbolic link to my Windows fonts directory.

And ideas?
