  Did some very basic and initial testing, worked fine.  The required platform
data:
uname -a
FreeBSD marvin.wass.net 4.1.1-STABLE FreeBSD 4.1.1-STABLE #5: Sat Dec 30
20:48:32 EST 2000     cwass@marvin.wass.net:/usr/src/sys/compile/MARVIN  i386

     I would comment on the link in the tarball, though.  The link and
subsequent target already existed on this particular box which has never run
DNS in the past.  I would suggest this means it is not needed here, unless
there is a reason it would not already exist.
     I tested it's ability to act as a forward-only DNS and as a primary with
only a localhost forward and reverse zone.  I'm guessing you were more
interested in testing the install, rather than specific functionality.
