We discussed this two months ago. Xditview is part of groff, groff is part of our sources. Groff is up to date (from the last time I checked which was a couple of months ago), so what's the problem? Yes, I'd like to make groff IN TOTAL a port, but people will bitch and whine, so we're stuck with it in the main distribution, in its entirety, until we go to 4.4bsd preformatted manual pages. I don't see this as an evolutionary step at all, and now you've simply moved us back to having X11-dependent code in the tree. Yuck. I'm not happy.
