Hmm, 3 years behind the "intentions" to remove the ports stuff from
share/mk is too long. Probably they seemed good at the time, but
were later decided to keep them here. I don't know.
Unless the ports stuff is getting deleted from src/share/mk, the
canonical way to use "/foo/ports/" as the ports root seems to be
"make PORTSDIR=3D/foo/ports".
