I didn't think to try that one, didn't know it existed until you brought it up, but when I do, I get the following in my dmesg pcm0: <ESS Technology Maestro-2E> irq 5 at device 14.0 on pci0 pcm0: unable to map register space device_probe_and_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6 and FYI: I have a linksys pcmcia card that fails to attach with the exact same error code. I think once I'm able to fix this problem, my linksys pcmcia card may be able to attach as well. -- David W.
