I would like to ask about the firewall how-to witch is located at http://www.freebsd.org/tutorials/dialup-firewall/index.html. I have implement exacly what it says. But a problem occurs when i connect to my isp.In fact i cannot ping other ip's but only the ip'smy isp ownes. And i cannot connect to port 80.I mean my isp's web server. Is there anythink wrong with the ipfw from the examples? Can you please tell what might be wrong ? The only reason i tryed it is not to be traced by nmap -O Can it be done? and if yes could you please explain the way?
