I've used it to write a RockRidge and Joliet disk, both with long file names, and it seemed to work. (Just on a simple test CD) I have no experience with the reliability of it for production CDs, though. I believe development on it has stopped, and it's actively being rolled into the next release of mkisofs (1.12?). You can still get mkhybrid, though.
