My situation was much the same, except they were using WinNT as their gateway before I gave them a *real* solution... They kept on having crashes or worse yet the server wouldn't disconnect at idle times costing them a fortune in interstate calls to their ISP, and nothing was automatic... I'm not blowing my own trumpet here, I'm just so happy with the flexibility and stability of FreeBSD... I recommend it to lots of people all the time.. ========================================================================= Carey Nairn ! email : Carey.Nairn@its.utas.edu.au Networks and Communications ! phone : (002) 20 7419 Information Technology Services ! fax : (002) 20 7898 University of Tasmania. ! =========================================================================
