Hello,
I am currently trying to configure my FreeBSD 12.0 system to use RoCE to interface with an ATTO bridge that is connected to a couple of tape drives. Everything I have found points toward using iSER or Infiniband to implement RDMA; I would not like to use these. Has anyone successfully configured FreeBSD to use RoCE? I have not made any progress, as I am not sure where to start.
OS: FreeBSD 12.0-STABLE
NIC: Mellanox MCX414A-GCAT
Bridge: ATTO XstreamCORE ET 8200T
Drives: IBM Ultrium HH LTO7 SAS
Any advice on how to implement this would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
