I found some duplicates through the FreeBSD search engine, too.

Eventually, the links in Google and elsewhere will fade away.  The
real problem is when people link to x4041.html, and that page magically
disappears.  We could replace those pages with redirects to what they
should be now, but that'll take a lot of effort.  The alternative is
to say "oops!", and accept that this won't cause huge amounts of damage
now, and will likely be totally forgotten in two years' time.

Not really.  It'll require adding IDs to each of the individual
sections.
