Hi Bill,
I don't know if you need the file... I'm not a sendmail geek!
Actually, this workaround worked for *me* and I'm sending my mail via sendmail 
too. But of course, you shouldn't delete the file unless you exactly know 
what you're doing and if you need it or not!!!
