On a fresh install of 4.6, the directory
/usr/share/examples/ppp
is empty, when it should contain at least ppp.conf.sample
It used to and the handbook says it should.

Read that handbook and see section 16.2.1.5 where it claims
Examples for user ppp can be found in /usr/share/examples/ppp/.
% ls /usr/share/examples/ppp
and you will see that it is empty

I'm sure it used to be there, way back when. My first attempt to set
up PPP on 3.X had a sample file in it somewhere. Just probably someone
forgot to do a cvs commit at some point.
