I have made a FreeBSD 2.0 box a ypclient and nfs client at work. I can login to the box with my nfs shared home directory as my home. I can edit a file but if I save it, it saves with 0 length. I cannot create a file. I have the same uid and gid I do from the Sun but the /etc/group file is not set to use NIS. Has anyone else done this and had it work? Thanks, Boyd -- _______________________________________________________________________________ Boyd Faulkner faulkner@mpd.tandem.com _______________________________________________________________________________
