The only thing I don't know is just how fast the program is compared to the alternatives. I will be benchmarking it next, and then I'll be able to more accurately compare it to the alternatives. You should also know about MyDNS. It's another front-end to MySQL, although it appears to have had less development, fewer features, probably less robust, etc.... However, it does ship with some pre-built PHP scripts for doing DNS management through the back-end database, and may be interesting for that reason alone.
