after cvsup'ing to FreeBSD 4.8-release-10 it didn't solve the scsi dumping issue, i then upadted the fireware of the maxtor 10k iv drives to 'DFL0' which were at 'DFF0' switched back to u320 mode and qas and packetized on, so far it managed to boot without dumping once... oh shit... just started dumping with the screen scolling like mad: ahd0: warning - DMA-up and complete SCB 75 invalid.. locked up hard with no response.. anyone know this one?
