Hmm, but there is no chip support for NICAM stereo on my card
whatsoever :( 
I'm a bit puzzled why this messes up the sound, because it
works on a normal (mono) tv without mods, strange...
BTW I got a datasheet for the Philips 1216 Tuner but its not
of much help...
