There are several papers
and slides
​and videos ​
on
my web page
​ and the youtube,​
a pretty long manpage,
​ all indicating what happens
to the interface (which does not die) when you switch
to netmap mode.

take some time to
​ read and familiarize with the
above, but it is the only way to move forward.

We cannot give you
recipes because your expectations
on what netmap
​ ​
does do not match
​the actual behaviour​
​.
