Is it possible, using boot/loader, to boot to an arbitrary parition on a disk. Say a DOS parition? If it is, or this could be easily added to boot/loader (shouldn't be difficult, read in first sector to ADDRESS, jmp to it, right?) It would be hundreds of times better than boot0 in most cases. -- David Cross | email: crossd@cs.rpi.edu Lab Director | Rm: 308 Lally Hall Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, | Ph: 518.276.2860 Department of Computer Science | Fax: 518.276.4033 I speak only for myself. | WinNT:Linux::Linux:FreeBSD To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
