Because we haven't got any comment from the maintainer yet.  You'll
see later.

I strongly hope that ja-gnome* ports will all be gone and when a
future release of a GNOME component lacks Japanese support we'll just
add patches to the "universal" port. (i.e. x11/gnomecore in this case)

By the way, SASAKI-san has been doing very good work regarding
GNOME/KDE stuff as well as their Japanese support.  That's why I'm
asking you portmgr's to approve him as ports committer. :>
