I'd like to write an application that access the serial port. I see from dmesg: device sio0 at port 0x3f8-0x3ff irq 4 flags 0x10 on isa0. Is this the device I open to send an external modem connected via RS232C data to transmit ? Is there any good source of serial port programming on FreeBSD ? Thanks for your help. I'm new to Unix serial port programming. -Ben To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
