it has to be started in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/rtc.sh. but it's hosed
anyway, i killed it. let freebsd run the clock.

dream on. the port of vmware 3 is a promise not fulfilled, and the
people doing it rudely refused an offer of assistance when i actually
had a slot of time to contribute.
