David,

Do you have an axe to grind?  While I respect the work you have done
in the past, lately your email's have come across as slightly uncivil.
Your flourish of (e)malloc commits seems to be a knee-jerk reaction 
to the proposed inclusion of emalloc and friends into libutil.  And,
this commit seems to be a slap in the face of Kris. 

Perhaps, you need a break.
