Geez, I knew it was something simple.
The missing `;` was a typo.
The lack of #!/bin/sh wasn't.. :(
I do usually do include them in actual scripts, except in my test
scripts, I now see the errors of my ways, And the potential hazzards
of them! I'll be sure to include them in all scripts!
