I'm just transfering over from linux, (infact, i just installed freebsd (4.0) last night), and am having trouble recognizing and configuring my modem. It's not a winmodem, and i know it works in *nix, because i've used it in linux hasstle free. I've got the jumpers set to ttyS2 (although i know that's not what they're called in freebsd) and irq 4. I'm pretty sure i can set up my ppp and get everything working just fine, but kppp keps hanging when i tell it to query modem. Any help??
