greetings,

I have a connection to the internet via our corp. lan.
I can get to news if I dail out on my pc and connect to my netcom
account. But ...

I would like to use freebsd to connect to netcom via
a dial out modem and set up a news server items for
a few of the news groups that I would like to follow
- i.e. freebsd and perl. This box is connected
to the lan as well.

The goal is to read these few news groups from many
different locations that I trudge to on our lan.

Where do I start I as don't even have ppp dial out
set up yet.

thanks
