What does your $MANPATH look like? Chances are, the directory where the "missing" man pages live is not in it. Modify it in your shell's start up file. Syntax depends on the shell, but look for how $PATH is added to for a guide. I can tap on them in midc and read them. How do I get man to read them? Am I missing some arcane arg? Can't find any reference to this in the Handbook or Greg's book.
